Ottawa, Ontario- Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, his ministers and Canadian MP Pierre Poliever congratulated former US President Donald Trump. This message was given to him on Trump’s announcement to participate in politics again. Also, people in Canada have seen mixed reactions to this currency.
Justin Trudeau said that Canada has strong relations with the US and Canada has no need to worry. He claimed that Canada is taking measures to advance its relationship with the US. Trudeau offered assurances about Canada’s security and stability in the wake of Trump’s arrival, saying, “Canada will be just fine.”
“Canada and the United States have the most successful partnership in the world. We are neighbors and friends, united by a shared history, shared values and strong ties between our peoples. We are also each other’s largest trading partners and our economies are deeply interconnected.

“During President Trump’s first term, we successfully renegotiated the Canada-US-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA), which has created thousands of good-paying jobs and provided investment and opportunity for our communities,” he said.
Justin Trudeau said that in 2023, trade between Canada and the U.S. was worth more than $1.3 trillion, which means more than $3.5 billion worth of goods and services cross the Canada-U.S. border every single day. Based on Team Canada’s work to deepen this relationship since 2015, bilateral trade between our two countries has grown by more than $400 billion.
“We look forward to working with President-elect Trump and his administration on issues including trade, investment, and continental peace and security.”
Along with this, members of parliament and some cabinet ministers of Canada also appeared in favor of Trudeau. He said that Canada has confidence in all its international and security policies and Trump’s victory will not affect Canada’s stability.
Opposition leader Pierre Poliever also congratulated Trump and said that the people of Canada do not need to panic with Trump’s involvement in American politics. He said that the relationship between America and Canada is strong and he believes that Canada’s economy and security will not be affected.
